Jan K has extensive experience as an advisor to private and public enterprises, and as a researcher and professional book author.
He is also the founder of the IT company Move in 1989 and Company Pulse in 2005.
He has written three professional books; "THE ART OF SUCCESS WITH HYBRID WORKPLACES" (2024) "TIME TO WORK – TIME TO OVER, about time thieves, technology and office landscapes" (2015) and as co-author of "Where Should I Sit?" (2003), considered a pioneering book on the topic of hybrid workplaces.

Jan K. Karlsen is educated in IT, organizational psychology and management, as well as statistics. He has dedicated much of his working life to research on hybrid workplaces. The goal has always been to balance good productivity and well-being in a hybrid work model.
Karlsen works primarily on issues related to management, HR and organization. And it is precisely the relationships between working methods, productivity and well-being in a hybrid work model that is his area of work.
